A hat-trick by Deepak Thakur propelled India to a stupendous 6-1 victory over Argentina in the final of the 7th World Junior Hockey Championships in Hobart on Sunday. Last editions` runners` up India bamboozled the South American champions with a deluge of goals and near-flawless performance to clinch the coveted Cup. The scorers for India, who led 2-0 at the break, were Prabhojot Singh (10th minute), Jugraj Singh (19th, and 44th) and Deepak Thakur (53rd, 56th and 59th). Lucas Cammareri (43rd) was the lone goal scorer for Argentina.
