Dhar, May 19: Sports Minister Vikram Verma has said bilateral cricket matches between India and Pakistan were not possible until relations between New Delhi and Islamabad improved considerably. "Cricket matches between India and Pakistan appear impossible as long as relations do not improve between the two countries," Verma told reporters here last evening.
However, Verma said India will play Pakistan in the four-nation hockey tournament to be played in Australia later this month.
To a query, the Minister said shortage of funds would not be allowed to come in the way of encouraging and developing sports talent in the country. Bureau Report
