Suri (WB), June 27: Sixteen children were down with fever at Rangaipur in West Bengal's Birbhum district and admitted to hospital today, health department sources said. None among the 16, being treated at Sainthia Hospital, were in critical condition, the sources said.

Additional staff were deployed at the hospital to meet any exigencies, the sources said.

The children, under strict observation at the hospital, were suffering from fever for the last few days.
