Gwalior, Oct 28: Police tonight raided the residence of Madhya Pradesh's rebel BSP leader Phool Singh Baraiyya here apparently in connection with the alleged theft of election-related materials from the party's offices in Gwalior division. Baraiyya, former president of BSP's state unit who was expelled from the party, was not in his house when the raid took place this evening, police sources said.
Earlier, the BSP leadeRship filed two separate complaints alleging that election-related documents and campaign materials were stolen from the party's offices in Bhopal and Gwalior divisions.
Barraiyya charged BSP supremo Mayawati had conspired with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh to arraign him and finish his political career.
