Chennai, June 02: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today axed three of her cabinet colleagues for their "poor performance" and decided to induct another five in the 12th reshuffle of the AIADMK ministry in the state. Jayalalithaa, who was to commission the first women commando wing of the state police, rushed to Raj Bhavan enroute and submitted the list to Governor P S Rammohan Rao. The ministers sacked were A Papasundaram and R Vadivel, who were inducted into the ministry only last year and K K Balasubramanian. Their axing was on the cards after Jayalalithaa had expressed displeasure over their performance during the recently concluded budget session of the state assembly. Thalavaisundaram and Pandurangan, who are among the five to be inducted, are being rehabilitated. They were ministers in the Jayalalithaa cabinet, but were dropped last year. Other new entrants are P Annavi, K P Anbalagan and R T Inbathamilan, son of DMK leader R Tamaraikani, who was elected to the DMK executive committee recently. The new ministers are to be sworn in tomorrow afternoon. Bureau Report
