Female swimmer bitten by sea lion in San Francisco
A retired paramedic who was also swimming in the same area helped the victim back to shore where she received first-aid care.
New Delhi: In the fourth attack of its kind within a month at San Francisco's Aquatic Park, a female swimmer was bitten by a sea lion.
On Thursday, the woman was swimming in the waters at the Aquatic Park, when the sea lion attacked her and she suffered a knee injury.
A retired paramedic who was also swimming in the same area helped the victim back to shore where she received first-aid care.
According to a witness, the woman bleeding badly when she got out of the water. Similar attacks occurred last month when two swimmers were bitten by sea lions in separate incidents.
