BSP to contest UP Assembly polls alone
Bahujan Samaj Party`s national Vice President Mayawati has said that her party would go all alone in the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh slated for next year.
Bahujan Samaj Party’s national Vice President Mayawati has said that her party would go all alone in the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh slated for next year.
“There is no question of any alliance with any political party for the next year's assembly elections as BSP is in a commanding position with more Muslims and upper caste Hindus turning towards it in the recent past,” Mayawati said while addressing partymen in Hamirpur on Tuesday.
Mayawati, who also visited party MP Ashok Kumar Singh
Chandel, at present in jail, in connection with a murder case,
said that those joining her party would be given good treatment as BSP was not against any section of people,
but was only against the 'Manuvadi' mentality.
She, however, warned party workers to remain cautious of
the media, both electronic and print, as it was dominated by 'manuvadis'.
