Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Saturday said that the controversy triggered over his remarks on the Ayodhya issue should be put behind and the focus should now be on discussion of economic development of the country. ``I hope the unnecessary political controversy of the week gone by is behind us. It is time now for all of us to refocus our attention on the most important agenda before the nation--namely, development.
``There is need for faster, more balanced and more equitable development,” he said. Bureau Report
