At least 30 people, including four security personnel, were injured, 13 of them critically, in two explosions triggered by militants in Kashmir on Sunday, official sources said. Militants threw a grenade at a BSF vehicle at Iqbal Market in Baramulla district's Sopore town wounding 26 pedestrians, they said.
The grenade hit the moving vehicle, fell on the road and exploded causing splinter injuries to passers-by, the sources said. The injured were admitted to hospital where the condition of 12 of them was stated to be serious.
In another incident, militants blew up an army vehicle carrying troops of 34 Rashtriya Rifles at Gagoora in Badgam district injuring four jawans, one of them seriously. Bureau Report
