Three persons have been arrested in connection with the killing of three tribals in a Tripura village while three NLFT insurgents have been held for their alleged involvement in the abduction of nine railway employees, police said.
National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) insurgents had killed two tribals at Burakha village on Sunday and shot dead another tribal person in the same area on Monday, police said, adding three persons allegedly involved in the killings have been arrested so far.

Meanwhile, acting on specific information, a police team raided Naithang Cherra village of Dhalai district on Monday night and arrested three NLFT insurgents in connection with the kidnapping of nine railwaymen on January 7 last.
NLFT insurgents had kidnapped seven employees of NF Railways, including two engineers, from a railway site at Sindhukumar para on January 7. In a separate incident on the same day, a driver and another employee were kidnapped after the insurgents detained a railway water tanker at Nailahabari area of Dhalai district. Bureau Report
