Three jawans on patrol duty were injured when militants detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Detha village in Udhampur district in Jammu division on Wednesday, an official spokesman said in Jammu.
“The jawans of India reserve police, who suffered minor injuries, were admitted to hospital,” he said.

“The militants also fired at the patrol party and escaped,” he added
“Meanwhile, the body of a woman, believed to have been killed by militants, was recovered from a forest area in Doda district,” he added.
