Principal, students of Modern Delhi Public School students contribute Rs 45L to Army Battle Casualties Welfare Fund
The students of the Modern Delhi Public School had individually collected money for the contribution to the fund, the defence minister`s official Twitter handle said.
New Delhi: Principal and students of a school based in Haryana's greater Faridabad on Friday handed over a cheque of Rs 45 lakh to Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as a contribution to the Army Battle Casualties Welfare Fund.
The students of the Modern Delhi Public School had individually collected money for the contribution to the fund, the defence minister's official Twitter handle said.
The Army Battle Casualties Welfare Fund (ABCWF) was set up by the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (ESW) under the Ministry of Defence, following many requests from citizens.
