Zambian student commits suicide in Vadodara

Vadodara: A Zambian student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside the hostel room of a private university here on Saturday, police said.

Zites Kala, a second year student at Parul University, was found hanging from the ceiling fan this evening, Vadodara District Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dolumbia told PTI.

"A police team has rushed to the spot. We will inform the High Commissioner of Zambia about the incident," he said.

The president of the University, Devanshu Patel, said the varsity will co-operate with police in the probe.
