Earlier, it had unrolled its wings to connect Gurugram, Faridabad and Ballabhgarh.

According to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana government has already initiated the move by tabling proposal to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) for the Delhi-Sonipat metro connectivity.

Khattar travelled from Bata Metro Chowk to Delhi's Central Secretariat on Monday trying to look out for problems faced by the passengers.

In order to enhance the facility of the public transport system, Haryana government has prepared a comprehensive project, said CM Khattar.

He further added that proposals have also been framed for those places where metro services are in need.

Official sources revealed that the Faridabad-Ballabhgarh metro service will commence by the end of this year.
