Ryan student murder case: Haryana govt hands probe to CBI, to take over school for 3 months
The Haryana government on Friday handed over the sensational murder of Class II student Pradyuman Thakur at Gurugram`s Ryan International School to Central Bureau of Investigation.
Gurugram: The Haryana government on Friday handed over the sensational murder of Class II student Pradyuman Thakur at Gurugram's Ryan International School to Central Bureau of Investigation.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made the announcement after he met the victim's parents at their residence today.
He further announced that Haryana government will take over the management of the school for next three months.
Deputy commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh will be in-charge of the school during this period, said Hindustan Times.
Meanwhile, CBI, which will begin its probe into the case, will file a fresh chargesheet and has sought fresh custody of the accused.
As per a report, the CBI sleuths will grill all stakeholder of the Ryan Group.
Seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur was found with his throat slit in the washroom of the school last Friday.
The school bus conductor Ashok Kumar has emerged as the prime suspect and has been arrested.
