According to a report in Daily Mail, Rezia Begum was suffering from this rare condition ever since the birth of her second daughter 18 years ago.

Though it is unclear how Rezia ended with this condition, she is left dependent on the support of her relatives.

40-year-old is being cared at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Bangladesh, but she is yet to begin the treatment.

Reportedly, previous reports from similar cases indicate that roundworms entering the body through mosquitoes may be causing the disease.

The condition may threaten Razia’s life if the swelling spreads from the leg to the abdomen.
