Sources now said that Eman will be shifted to Abu Dhabi-based Burjeel Hospital on Thursday, by 6pm or 7pm, on an Egypt Air Airbus 300.

The Egyptian woman, who now weighs 176kg and no longer the world's heaviest woman, is leaving India close to 300kg lighter.

On Tuesday, sources at the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) told DNA that Eman was likely to fly on a non-scheduled carrier at around 2 am on Wednesday, adding that the final details were yet to be confirmed.

The 36-year-old Eman arrived in Mumbai on February 11 and underwent a bariatric surgery on March 7, under the supervision of Dr Muffazal Lakdawala.

Spat between Eman's kin and Saifee hospital began after her sister Shaimaa alleged that doctors treating her were lying about her weight loss. Following the controversy, Shaimaa sought help from Burjeel for continuation of Eman's treatment.
