New Delhi: Medical science is considered a blessing, but there are times it can leave even experts stumped.

The medical condition of a four-year-old boy has left doctors and medical professionals completely baffled.

As per reports, the boy is suffering from a painful medical condition, which makes his eyes bleed and pop out of their sockets and which the doctors are unable to diagnose.

Sagar Dorji, from Lakhimpur in the northeastern Indian state of Assam, only developed the condition recently, approximately 3 months ago.

As per the Daily Mail, his mother explained how it all started, saying that, “First, his eyes got swollen and looked bloodshot - then they started to come out of the socket and bleed.”

The boy's parents Kusum and Pratim Dorji are understandably devastated and desperate to get their son's condition diagnosed, however, even though doctors want to conduct some lab tests to find out the problem, poverty has left them helpless.

Unable to bear Sagar's medical expenses, Pratim, who works as a labourer, said that, “It would cost around Rs 12000 [£120 or $156] , but I don't have money to fund that,” reported the Daily Mail.

Sagar's worsening condition propelled the Dorji's into moving him to a state-run facility for better treatment, but to no avail, since his health hasn't seen any improvement.

Sagar has now lost his eyesight.

The Daily Mail has further reported that the Dorji family's neighbours are trying to raise awareness of Sagar's plight, as well as money for the crucial medical tests.

Apart from that, Biwasjit Barman, a social activist, is trying to gather funds among his friends and family.
