New Delhi: In a rarest of the rare cases, a 16-year-old boy from West Bengal was found with female sexual organs.

The boy, who is otherwise a male, had a uterus, ovaries, a rudimentary vagina and fallopian tubes.

Reportedly, the condition is so rare that it happens to be only the tenth case from all over the world.

Doctors at Fortis hospital, Bengaluru conducted a series of operations on the boy earlier this year to keep this rare condition called Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome in check.

Following this, the boy was operated upon in two stages of surgeries and the doctors have now declared him absolutely normal.
