New Delhi: India is witnessing a second wave of coronavirus, with daily COVID-19 cases rising exponentially in the country. On Monday, India surpassed Brazil to record the second-highest number of COVID-19 cases at 1,35,27,717, as a record 1,68,912 new infections were reported in a day. With this, the total active cases surpassed the 12-lakh mark whereas the death toll increased to 1,70,179 with 904 new fatalities in a day, which is the highest since October 18, 2020.
The rapid mutation of the virus and never-ending new strains have now become more infectious and it is hard to tell, how this situation will manifest in future. However, Mr Nilesh Jogal, Founder Jogi Ayurved Hospital has a simple hack to protect ourselves against the highly contagious Sars-Cov-2 virus.
Mr Jogal claims his organisation has been in contact with almost 4,000 COVID positive patients but none of them contracted the virus as they have been regularly taking steam twice a day.
Check out Mr Jogal's video where he has shared his hack against catching the coronavirus infection.
Mr Jogal shares that inhaling simple water steam from your nostrils and exhaling from your mouth 10 times and then inhaling from your mouth and exhaling from your nostrils ten times can keep you safe against the virus. There is no need to add anything to the steam. Just plain water is enough. However, if you enjoy the aroma, you can add ajwain (carom seeds) or eucalyptus. For this, you can either buy a steam inhalation apparatus or can steam using your basic kitchen utensils.
According to the data by Mr Jogal, who shared the video on his social media, people who followed his advice and did regular steam, managed to keep themselves safe from the COVID-19 virus.
