Los Angeles: Veteran actor Jamie Lee Curtis is the latest addition to the A-list ensemble of Rian Johnson's "Knives Out".

The film also stars Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield, Don Johnson and Ana de Armas, reported Variety.


Johnson also co-wrote the script with his longtime producing partner Ram Bergman, with whom he collaborated on Lucasfilm's "Star Wars: The Last Jedi". 


MRC is backing "Knive's Out", described as a contemporary murder mystery.


Craig will star as a detective assigned to solve the crime. Details about Curtis' character are not revealed yet.


Production is set to begin in November.
