Delhi Polls: These Assembly Seats Are Battleground For AAP; Won Here By Just 753 Votes Last Time - Check Details
Several seats in the Delhi were won by AAP with the smallest margin during the 2020 Assembly election.
Delhi Assembly Election 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced its final list of candidates on Sunday, including the names of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi and CM Atishi Marlena from the Kalkaji seat, On the other hand, BJP has not yet fielded candidates for any seat.
Several seats in the National Capital were won by AAP with the smallest margin during the 2020 Assembly election. One of these is the Patparganj seat, which was held by former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
Bijwasan
In the 2020 elections, AAP won this seat with approx 753 votes. AAP's Bhupinder Singh June defeated BJP's Prakash Rana in a close contest. This time, AAP has replaced Bhupinder Singh with Surender Bhardwaj as the candidate.
Adarsh Nagar
In the 2020 Assembly elections, AAP won this seat by a margin of approx 1,589 votes. AAP's Pawan Sharma defeated BJP candidate Rajkumar Bhatia from Adarsh Nagar Seat.
Kasturba Nagar
AAP's Madan Lal Kasturba won this seat by a margin of approx 3,165 votes in 2020 assembly polls, defeating BJP's Ravinder Chaudhary. For upcoming polls, AAP nominated Ramesh Pehalwan as the candidate.
Patparganj
In the 2020 Assembly elections, AAP candidate Manish Sisodia won with approx 3,207 votes. This time, Manish Sisodia's seat has been changed, and he has been given the ticket from Jangpura. AAP has fielded viral teacher Awadh Ojha from Patparganj.
Shalimar Bagh
AAP leader Vandana Kumari won from Shalimar Bagh seat by a margin of at least 3,440 votes in the 2020 assembly elections.
