The massive fire which broke out in Spice Mall in Uttar Pradesh's Noida on Monday has been extinguished and no casualties have been reported, police said. At least four fire engines were deployed  after receiving information that exhaust fan of a resturant on the second floor of the mall had caught fire.

The smoke from the exhaust fan spread on the other floors of the mall through the Air Handling Unit (AHU), so it initially appeared as though fire had reached other floors as well. However, it was contained at the exhaust fan itself.

No casualties were reported while all the people in the building have been evacuated safely, said police.
