While many transfers took place in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday, a major reshuffle took place in Haryana today hours ahead of the assembly poll date announcement. The Haryana government issued transfer orders for 21 IAS, 65 HCS, 12 IPS, and three HPS officers, with immediate effect. These transfers were announced just hours before the Election Commission revealed the date for the Haryana Assembly elections. The Commission declared that the polls would take place in a single phase on October 1, with the results to be announced on October 4.
