Maharashtra with its  48 Lok Sabha seats, the second largest after Uttar Pradesh, is witnessing contest between the ruling Mahayuti comprising the Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP, and the opposition alliance of the Shiv Sena , Congress and NCP. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 23 out of 25 contested seats, while the undivided Shiv Sena secured 18 out of 23 seats.

7.30: ABP-CVoter Exit Poll: Maharashtra's Election Outlook


According to the ABP-CVoter exit poll results, a close contest is expected in Maharashtra. Out of the 48 seats, the NDA is projected to secure 22-26 seats, while the All India Alliance is likely to win 23-25 seats.

6.20: Over 48% Voter Turnout Recorded In 8 LS Seats In Bihar Till 5 pm


Bihar registered 48.86 per cent voter turnout in eight Lok Sabha constituencies till 5 pm on Saturday, officials said. Voting began at 7 am in Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Arrah, Karakat, Jehanabad, Buxar, Nalanda and Jehanabad Lok Sabha seats and will continue till 6 pm.


6.10 pm: LS polls phase 7- Over 58% voting till 5 pm


A voter turnout of 58.34 per cent was recorded till 5 pm on Saturday in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha polls with incidents of violence between TMC and BJP supporters reported in Sandeshkhali region of West Bengal, and complaints of EVM glitches and rigging at some booths lodged.

A voter turnout of 67.95 per cent was recorded in three Lok Sabha constituencies in Jharkhand, where voting took place in the seventh and final phase on Saturday, officials said.


5.40 pm: INDIA Bloc To Get 295+ seats, Says Kejriwal


After the INDIA alliance meeting, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, "The INDIA Alliance is projected to secure 295+ seats, while the BJP will get around 220 seats, and the NDA alliance 235 seats. The INDIA alliance will form a strong and stable government on its own. The PM candidate will be decided on June 4."


5.30 pm: INDIA Bloc Allies to Participate In Exit Poll Debates


INDIA bloc parties on Saturday announced that they will participate in the exit poll debates on television this evening after the grouping's top leaders met and deliberated on the issue at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's residence.
