GTB Hospital director says, "of the 28 victims brought dead to the hospital, five had sustained burn injuries, three were stabbed, seven had firearm injuries, eight died due to assault by blunt objects, one was stabbed and also shot."
Post-mortems had been performed till now on 25 bodies as per the police request, whereas autopsies on only 13 bodies -- kept in the hospital morgue -- remained to be performed, say GTB Hospital officials.
One more person injured in the violence in northeast Delhi was admitted on Saturday in Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Dilshad Garden area, taking the number of such admitted victims/patients to 239.

A high-level team of BSF visits the residence of its jawan Mohammad Anees, a victim of arson in Delhi riots.The team will take stock of the damage done at jawan's house by the mob. BSF DIG rank officers will go to the spot. According to reports, the BSF will provide assistance to the jawan's family.

Shyamlal, a milk seller in north east district of Delhi, told ANI that his business too was affected due to violence in the area. "After the violence, the demand for milk came down. But people are now living in peace and with a feeling of brotherhood. Some people have moved out of the area because of which my business has come down," he said.
"The situation looks quite normal now. Customers are gradually turning up at my shop to buy items they need. But all the food items have gone stale as the shop was closed for five days," said Narayan Agarawal, owner of a sweet shop.
On Saturday morning, a couple of stores selling daily needs goods like groceries, sweets and medicines opened after a gap of five days.
After four days of violence in northeast Delhi, some areas such as Maujpur and Babarpur have begun to show signs of normalcy.

NEW DELHI: While Delhi is slowly limping back to normalcy, the families of those who lost their lives after clashes broke out between pro and anti-CAA protesters in the northeast Delhi, killing several people and leaving hundreds of others injured, are facing police apathy, lack of coordination and delay in getting the bodies of their loved ones outside the mortuary of the government hospitals.
The violence that unfolded in Jaffrabad, Maujpur, Babarpur, Chand Bagh, Shiv Vihar, Bhajan Pura, Yamuna Vihar areas of northeast Delhi earlier this week have claimed at least 42 lives and left over 200 injured while also unleashing large scale mob-led destruction of properties.
