The Aviation Ministry on Monday announced that all the international flights will operate with 100 % capacity from March 10. This comes after a two-year halt in view of the coronavirus pandemic-induced travel restrictions.


Punjab chief minister-designate Bhagwant Mann on Monday (March 14, 2022) invited the people of the state for his oath-taking ceremony to be held on March 16. He also urged the men to wear 'Basanti' (yellow) turbans and women yellow 'dupatta' (shawl) on that day. The ceremony is set to take place at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, in Nawanshahr district.


Additionally, Newly-elected MLA Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh was sworn in as the protem speaker of the Manipur legislative assembly at the Darbar hall of the Raj Bhavan in Imphal on Monday (March 14, 2022). N.Biren Singh was also sworn in as a Member of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly at the Assembly Hall in Imphal, earlier today.


In other developments, the second part of the Budget Session of Parliament will begin from Monday. The second half of the Budget session will conclude on April 8. The first half of the Budget session began on January 31 and concluded on February 11.
