Maharashtra: The total increases to 1,28,205 after 3,874 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. There were 160 new deaths in the State that took the death count to 5,984. Around 64,153 people have been cured so far.
Mumbai: Total - 65,329. Toll at 3,561.

Telangana: 546 new COVID-19 cases take the total number of cases to 7,072. The death count stands at 203 after 5 new deaths were recorded today.

Tamil Nadu: 2,396 new cases have been reported in the State today taking the total number of positive cases to 56,845, out of which 24,822 are active cases.

Uttarakhand: 101 new cases were reported today so far, taking the state's total to 2,278.

As per the Ministry of Health data total cases in India surged to 3,95,048 which includes 1,68,269 are active cases while at least 2,13,831 people have been cured of the infection.
The number of Covid-19 death toll in the country has increased by 14,516 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Maharashtra, which has emerged as the worst Coronavirus-hit state in the country, has so far recorded 1,20,504 cases, including 5,751 fatalities, and 60,838 recoveries. Tamil Nadu followed with 52,334 cases. The Covid-19 tally in Delhi has crossed the 49,000-mark with as many as 49,979 cases recorded so far in the national capital. Gujarat has reported 25,601 cases so far.
India is the world's fourth worst-hit nation in terms of a total number of confirmed cases it is just behind the US, Brazil and Russia.
