LIVE: Delhi`s total increases by 2,199 to 87,360 including 26,270 active cases, 2,742 deaths

According to the ICMR, a cumulative total of 86,08,654 COVID-19 samples tested in India so far out of which 2,10,292 samples tested on Monday.

  • Delhi: 2199 new cases take the total number of cases to 87,360, including 26,270 active cases, 5,834 recovered/discharged/migrated cases, and 2,742 deaths.

  • Maharashtra: COVID-19 positive patients in the state have increased to 1,74,761, with 4,878 new cases in the last 24 hours. The state has witnessed as many as 245 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, and the death count now stands at 7,855.

  • Karnataka:  New Cases Reported: 947. Total Active Cases: 7,074. Total Positive Cases: 15,242. Total COVID-19 Deaths: 246.

     
     

  • Andhra Pradesh records 704 fresh COVID-19 cases, state's tally rises to 14,595.
     

  • Maharashtra: As many as 4,861 personnel of Maharashtra Police have tested positive for COVID-19, said state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Tuesday. He said that out of the total cases, 3,699 have recovered and 59 have succumbed to the disease. (ANI inputs)

  • Himachal Pradesh: COVID-19 cases in the state rise to 948, of which 358 cases are active. The death count is at 8.

  • Tamil Nadu: 3,943 new cases take the total number of cases to 90,167. There are still 38,889 active cases. The death count at 1,201.

  • Chandigarh: The total number of positive cases in the UT stands at 440, out of which 70 are active cases while the death count is at 6.

  • Uttar Pradesh: In the last 24 hours, 672 new positive cases have been reported in the state. There are 6,711 active cases, 16,084 patients have been discharged so far and 697 patients have succumbed to the infection.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi today chaired a high-level meeting to review the preparations being undertaken for vaccination against COVID19.

  • Andhra Pradesh: 704 new COVID19 cases and 7 deaths reported in the state in last 24 hours. Total number of cases in the state is now at 14595, including 7897 active cases, 6511 discharged and 187 deaths. 

  • Rajasthan: 94 COVID19 cases, 27 recovered and 4 deaths reported in the state, as of 10:30 am. Total number of cases in the state is now at 17,754, including 3,397 active cases and 409 deaths.

India on Monday (June 29, 2020) recorded more than 18,000 COVID-19 cases in a single day taking the total tally to 5.66 lakh. The country recorded more than 15,000 coronavirus cases for the sixth consecutive day that India.

Meanwhile, India's first COVID-19 vaccine COVAXIN developed by Bharat Biotech got the nod for human trials by the Drug Controller General of India on Monday (June 29).
