Muradnagar Nagar Palika Election Result: A nail-biting battle for the civic body elections was seen in Ghaziabad's district's Muradnagar Town. BSP's Chammi Chaudhary and independent candidate Rekha Arora were sailing towards the victory in a neck and neck competition. However, Chammi defeated Rekha Arora in close contest. Chammi Chaudhary is the wife of local strongman and BSP leader Wahab Chaudhary; Rekha Arora is the wife of local strogman Radhe Kishan Arora. Rekha Arora was eyeing a ticket from the Bharatiya Janata Party. However, Rekha Arora filed her papers as independent candidate when the BJP gave ticket to Rama Devi, the wife of BJP leader Gopal Aggarrwal.
