Uttarakhand further relaxes Covid-19 curbs as cases sink - Check new guidelines here
The ban on political rallies and dharnas, however, also continue till March 10.
New Delhi: As the number of Covid-19 cases continue to sink, the Government of Uttarakhand on Monday (February 28, 2022) further relaxed coronavirus-related restrictions.
According to the new guidelines, the state has allowed swimming pools and water parks to reopen from March 1. In view of the decline in the number of Covid-19 infections, the government has also decided that full office attendance will be resumed from March 1.

The ban on political rallies and dharnas, however, also continue till March 10.
Earlier on February 16, the Pushkar Singh Dhami-led government had lifted night curfew after over one-and-a-half months and had allowed various other economic activities to resume fully.
According to revised guidelines, a night curfew imposed in the state on December 27 to rein in a spike in pandemic cases was lifted, and gyms, shopping malls, cinema halls, spas, salons, theatres, auditoriums and meeting halls were also allowed to reopen with full capacity.
The state, notably, currently has 2,330 active Covid-19 cases.
