BSF exam topper in Kashmir gets life threat from militants, seeks help
According to ANI, Nabeel Ahmed Wahi has approached the Women and Child Development Minister Meneka Gandhi for protection.
Srinagar: A Kashmiri youth who topped the recruitment exam for Border Security Force (BSF) has been receiving death threats from militants in the Valley, a media report said on Tuesday.
According to ANI, Nabeel Ahmed Wahi has approached the Women and Child Development Minister Meneka Gandhi for protection.
Nabeel reportedly claimed that both he and his sister have received death threat from the militants after he topped the recruitment exam.
The news comes days after Hizbul Mujahideen militants executed a young Army officer in Kashmir a day after his abduction.
The 22-year-old officer hailed from Shopian district.
However, Fayaz's body reportedly did not bear any torture marks.
Police have found two empty cartridges of an INSAS rifle at the place where Fayaz was shot dead by the militants.
