According to reports, the terrorists opened fire on a joint post belonging to the J&K Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Shopian's Keegam.

"Terrorists fired at Keegam police post. There is no report of any damage or casualty so far," a police officer said.

CRPF, however, retaliated strongly after terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on their police post.
