Terrorists open fire at Anantnag municipal committee chairman, one injured

A Personal Security Officer of Anantnag Municipal Committee chairman has been injured in the firing.

New Delhi: A group of terrorists on Friday opened fire on Hilal Shah, the Chairman of Municipal Committee of Anantnag. One Personal Security Officer (PSO) of the chairman received bullet injuries in the firing. 

The injured was immediately rushed to a hospital. 

Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation was immediately launched by the security forces to track down the attackers.
