According to the Times of India, Musa made this appeal in his first audio message as an al Qaeda operative in which he slammed Indian Muslims for not joining the Islamic jihad for 'Ghazwa-e-Hind' - the final and last battle for the conquest of India.

Meanwhile, two senior officials of the Jammu & Kashmir Police have confirmed that it was Musa's voice in the audio.

The audio clip was shared via Telegram and WhatsApp groups.

Invoking the recent "atrocities" against Muslims in India, Musa reiterated that the war was not just limited to Kashmir.

"It's a war between Islam and the infidel," he said in his first direct address to Indian Muslims.

The former Hizbul militant also referred to the recent instances of lynching of Muslims by cow-vigilantes across India.

Shaming Indian Muslims for not standing up for the victims, Musa said, "They are the most shameless Muslims in the world. They should be ashamed of calling themselves Muslims. Our sisters are getting abused and dishonoured and Indian Muslims keep screaming that Islam is peace."

Referring to the historic Islamic 'Jung-e-Badr', Musa said, "They were 313 and ruled the world. We are crores now but only as slaves."

Warning Indian Muslims, Musa said, "You still have a chance to stand up and join us. Come forward or it will be too late for you." Show cow vigilantes "the muscle of Islam and Muslim community", he said.

"We will take revenge of each murder and every atrocity committed against a Muslim and establish Sharia not just in India but across the world," he warned.
