Patan Lok Sabha Constituency, is one of 26 Lok Sabha constituencies in the western state of Gujarat and cast its vote in the 2019 election on April 23. The results would be declared on May 23.

Patan registered 62.05 percent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 3.71 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1805223 while the total voter turnout is 1120065. While in 2014, the constituency registered 58.34 percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1627614 while the total voter's turnout was 949629.


Jagdish Thakor of Indian National Congress, Dabhi Bharatsinhji Shankarji of Bharatiya Janata Party and Surajkumar Mahendrabhai Parmar of Bahujan Samaj Party are a few prominent candidates contesting for general election 2019 from Patan Lok Sabha constituency of Gujarat.



Patan constituency covers seven assembly segments –  Vadgam which is reserved for members of the Scheduled Castes, Kankrej, Radhanpur, Chanasma, Patan, Sidhpur and Kheralu.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Liladhar Vaghela, of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) – won with a margin of over 1.38 lakh votes. He had defeated Bhavsinh Rathod of the Indian National Congress (INC). Vaghela had secured 518538 votes while Rathod got 379819 votes.
