Police raid dance bar in Thane, rescue 18 girls from basement

MUMBAI: As many as 18 girls were on Saturday rescued by Thane Crime Branch after they raided a dance bar here.

The team was headed by Additional Police Commissioner Makrand Ranade.

The girls were being hidden in the basement and the bar used to function till late night.

Although the owner is absconding, the staff working at the bar have been taken into custody.
