Mumbai: BSE benchmark Sensex on Friday continued its sluggishness for the second straight session.

Sensex tanked over 329 points to end at about one-week low of 26,230.66 on sustained foreign fund outflows amid weak global cues.


The index, which had lost 92.89 points in the previous session, dropped another 329.26 points, or 1.24 percent, to end at 26,230.66, its lowest closing since November 28. It shuttled between 26,463.06 and 26,182.93 today.


The 50-share NSE Nifty tumbled 106.10 points, or 1.30 percent, to end at 8,086.80, after moving between 8,159.30 and 8,070.05.
