New Delhi: Search engine giant Google is all set to launch the new generation of its Pixel range of smartphones on Wednesday.

Most media leaks have claimed that Google will be naming the second-generation smartphones as 'Pixel 2' and 'Pixel 2 XL'.


Based on leaked reports, here are the expected features of the upcoming devices


Pixel 2 XL is expected to come with a QHD Curved Gorilla Glass 5 display


It is also expected to support narrow bezels.


Pixel 2 is expected to come with a full-HD display, housing Gorilla Glass 5 on top.


Pixel 2 XL might house a 3520mAh battery while the Pixel 2 is expected boast of a 2700mAh battery.


Both Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.


The devices would likely be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor.


Both the devices may host two storage variants –64GB and 128GB – with an expandable memory.


Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will reportedly come at a premium pricing. The 64GB variant Pixel 2 would come between Rs 40,000 – Rs 42,000 while the 128GB variant would be priced between Rs 45,000-Rs 49,000.


Likewise, the 64GB Pixel 2 XL would come at a range between Rs 50,000- Rs 55,000 while the 128GB variants will be priced at Rs 60,000 upwards.


Where to watch the launch event?


Googel will launch the Pixel phones at an event in San Francisco. The event starts at 9am PDT (9:30 pm IST).
