New Delhi: Xiaomi has launched 'Lake Blue' variant of Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India that has gone on sale from Monday 12pm IST via Mi.com, Flipkart and company's own Mi Home stores. The new variant of the handset has been launched in 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage configuration priced at Rs 12,999.

Reportedly, Redmi Note 4's new variant has been launched as a part of 'Wake the Lake' project in India. Additionally, further sales of each new device will go towards supporting government's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' initiative. 


Notably, the new edition has same feature as the 4GB RAM variant of the Redmi Note 4. Below are the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Lake Blue Variant.  


  • The handset sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass IPS display. 
     
  • It is powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC. 
     
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Lake Blue variant packs 4GB of RAM and comes with 64GB of built-in storage.
     
  • The smartphone's storage is further expandable via microSD card.
     
  • The new variant features a 13-megapixel CMOS sensor at the back and a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor at the front. 
     
  • Its connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. 
     
  • Redmi Note 4 houses a 4100mAh battery.
