New Delhi: Xiaomi Mi Max 2, a new edition from Xiaomi's end, was launched launched in India on Tuesday. This latest member of Xiaomi family has already been unveiled in China in May 2017 and is going by the tagline of company-'Big is Back'. This new phablet has been priced at Rs 16,999 and will be available in offline as online channel simultaneously.

How is it different from other Xiaomi members:


1)It has similar design language design as that of Mi Max with a metal unibody casing and also has a finger print sensor at the back.It weighs 211 gram and is 7.6 mm thin.


2)Its screen size is 6.44 inch with full-HD display (i.e. 1080 x 1920 pixels), same as that of Mi Max.


3)Unlike other editions of Xiaomi, it has 5300 mAh battery.


Other Remarkable Features:


1)It has an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz along with 4GB RAM.


2)It runs on MIUI 8 that is based on Android Nougat.


3)It is comprised of 12-megapixel rear camera with a PDAF support and dual LED flash. Its also being said that it is identical to Mi 6.


4)It also has 5MP secondary Camera like its predecessor.


5)The company quoted-''Its battery can last up to 2 days and also comes with quick charge 3.0 that charges the battery up to 68% in just 1 hour.''


China had the launch of the handset at two different storage category- 64GB and 128GB, out of which the latter one was priced at CNY 1,999 (INR Rs.18,900 roughly).


It's difficult to say, whether both the categories could make it to Indian Market. Once the product will be launched in the country its exact price and availability details will be revealed.
