New Delhi: After the Redmi 3 launch in early January 2016, it seems that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the upgraded version Redmi 4.


According to the latest leak on Chinese certification site TENAA,  the upgrade of the Redmi 3​ or Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 was spotted. 


As per the leak Redmi 4 will come with the following features:


A 5-inch FullHD display.


Will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 chipset which has a 1.4GHz octa-core processor.


I likely to be paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable to 128GB.


Expected to have a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash unit and a 5MP front-facing camera.


Will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI skin atop it. 


A fingerprint scanner in the top half on the rear side.


Expected to come with a 4000mAh battery. 


May have a price tag of CNY 699 (approx Rs 7000).


The is no official statement from Xiaomi on the time and date of launch, but it is being speculated that Redmi 4 may hit the market sometime in November.
