Mumbai: A massive fire broke out at a storehouse in South Mumbai's highly-crowded Zaveri Bazaar locality on Friday.

At five teams of fire brigade were immediately rushed to the spot to douse the fire.



A fire broke out in a commercial establishment in Kalbadevi area of South Mumbai this evening, but no injuries were reported, a fire brigade official was quoted as saying by PTI.


"Our control room received a call at around 7.30 pm about a fire in Kalbadevi near Zaveri Bazaar and fire engines were pressed into service to douse the flames," he said.


No injuries were reported so far, the official said.


The cause of the fire was not immediately known. But the fire was contained after some time.
