Badumba! Amitabh Bachchan lends voice for song for `102 Not Out`
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is known for his baritone voice, has now crooned for a song titled `Badumba` for his upcoming movie `102 Not Out`.
Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is known for his baritone voice, has now crooned for a song titled 'Badumba' for his upcoming movie '102 Not Out'.
The 75-year-old actor announced on his Twitter handle with the caption, "Sung a song and composed it for '102 Not Out'. Rehearsals on with the great Ganesh... its 'BAADDUUUMBAAAA'! Trust me."
Apart from Amitabh, '102 Not Out' will also feature Rishi Kapoor in a key role. Amitabh, who will be teaming with Rishi after a gap of 27 years, will be seen playing 102 years old father to a 75-year-old character of Rishi in the movie.
The movie will be directed by Umesh Shukla of 'OMG – Oh My God!' fame.
"One could sit inside the portals of a studio for hours just jamming and having the time of your life... those moments are special and precious. But with that comes the fear of the shooting of it and the apprehensions of its performing. Never a dull moment in our lives!" Amitabh wrote on his blog.
This is not the first time when Big B has lent his voice for a song. In the past too, the actor has lent his voice to some hit numbers of his films. Some of them are - Mere Paas Aao from 'Mr Natwarlal', Rang Barse and Neela Aasman from 'Silsila', Mere Angne Mein from 'Laawaris', Jahan Chaar Yaar from 'Sharaabi', Holi Khele from 'Baaghban', Rozana Jiye from 'Nishabd'.
He had last sung for 'Piddly' for 2015 released 'Shamitabh'.
Meanwhile, the film '102 not out' will hit the screens on May 4 this year.
