Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh bypoll results: As it happened on November 24
The ruling TRS on Tuesday retained the Warangal Lok Sabha seat by a record margin of over 4.59 lakh votes, while Congress emerged winner in Ratlam and BJP managed to retain the Dewas Assembly seat hours after counting of votes began.

-TRS MP K Kavitha, the Chief Minister's daughter, said their responsibility had further increased with this huge victory.
- ''A big thanks to Warangal. You've inspired us to work more and better," tweeted KT Rama Rao, state minister and son of Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao.
-Celebrations begin in TRS camps across the state as party workers burst firecrackers and distributed sweets at party headquarters Telangana Bhavan.
-Dayakar established a lead from the very first round of counting, increasing the lead with every subsequent round. At the end of all 22 rounds of counting, the margin swelled to over 4.59 lakh votes, as per PTI.
-The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) retains the Warangal (SC) Lok Sabha seat as its candidate Pasunoori Dayakar won by a massive margin of nearly 4.6 lakh votes.
-Dayakar has secured 2,01,499 votes as against Congress candidate Sarve Sathyanarayana, who polled 54,786, while BJP's P Devaiah got 39,925 votes at the end of the sixth round of counting.
-Ruling TRS candidate Pasunoori Dayakar is leading by nearly 1.46 lakh votes over his nearest Congress rival in the Warangal (SC) Lok Sabha bypoll.
-Section 144 of CrPC (preventing unlwaful assembly) has been imposed at the venue to as a precautionary measure.
In Warangal, the exercise is being undertaken in seven halls in the Enumamula market yard, as per the District Collector V Karuna.
-The counting of votes begin at 8 am.
-The by-poll for Warangal (SC) seat was held on November 21. It witnessed a voter turn-out of 68.59 percent.
-The main contest is considered to be between P Dayakar of the ruling TRS, main opposition Congress nominee and former Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana and BJP candidate P Devaiah on behalf of the BJP-TDP combine.
-YSRCP's N Suryaprakash and a Left-backed candidate are also part of the electoral battle.
-The by-poll was necessitated following the resignation of sitting TRS MP K Srihari after he became Telangana Deputy Chief Minister.
Ratlam, Dewas bypoll
-Meanwhile, the Congress has wrested Ratlam-Jhabua Lok Sabha seat from BJP by margin of over 88,000 votes.
-BJP's Gayatri Raje Puar has emerged winner in Dewas.
-BJP has retained the Dewas Assembly seat by margin of 30,778 votes.
-Congress leading in Ratlam-Jhabua Lok Sabha seat by over 60,000 votes, as per latest results.
-Congress's Kantilal Bhuriya is leading by 34745 votes, celebrations begin outside his residence .
-Congress is second and the BJP candidate is at third position after initial rounds of counting.
-In Ratlam, Congress candidate Kantilal Bhuriya is leading by 1212 votes.
-In Dewas, BJP candidate Gayatri Raje Puar is leading by 3422 votes.
-The counting of votes for Ratlam Lok Sabha constituency and Dewas assembly seat also began at 8 am today.
-Over 59 percent polling was registered in the by-election to Ratlam Lok Sabha constituency in MP.
-Over 62 percent turnout was recorded for Dewas Assembly bypoll.
-In Ratlam, eight candidates, including Congress candidate and former Union minister Kantilal Bhuria, BJP nominee and MLA Nirmala Bhuria and Grand Alliance candidate Vijay Haari are testing their political fortunes.
-The by-poll was necessitated due to the death of BJP tribal face Dilip Singh Bhuria, father of Nirmala.
-In Dewas, the fate of four candidates- BJP nominee Gayatri Raje Puar, Congress's Jaiprakash Shastri, Samajwadi Party's Haji Hatam Bhai and an Independent candidate Sunny Kanvar will be decided today.
-The Assembly by-election had to be conducted due to the demise of Tukojirao Puar in June this year.
-His wife Gayatri Raje is likely to sail through riding on a sympathy factor.
