Baba Ramdev praises Lalu Yadav as `social and political heritage of country`s politics`

Patna: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Friday heaped praise on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

After meeting the former Bihar chief minister, the yoga guru described Lalu as socially and politically important for the country, who needs to remain in good health.

While wishing good health to Lalu Yadav, the yoga guru praised the RJD chief as "social and political heritage of the country's politics."

Baba Ramdev further opined that such a personality needs to stay healthy for the good of citizens.

Later, Rabri Devi, wife of Lalu Prasad said that Baba Ramdev had come to see her husband as he was not keeping good health and advised him to do some yoga exercises.

Earlier this year, the RJD chief, who has had a 'blow cold, blow hot' relationship with Baba Ramdev, had lauded the yoga guru for attaining "huge" success through "sheer hard work" and also advised him to be "careful as he has many enemies now".

The bonhomie between the two was then apparent during the meeting with Ramdev gifting Prasad a range of Patanjali products and also applying an ayurveda cream on the politico's face - suggestive of their new-found closeness.
