According to reports, leader of the opposition Nand Kishore Yadav said the meet held no meaning without the presence of the Chief Minister and the Parliamentary Affairs Minister.

The BJP, however, stopped short of pledging support to Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.

This move comes after JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav on Tuesday night had suspended seven ministers loyal to Manjhi for allegedly acting in violation of party principles.

Choudhary had earlier this week called for a floor test of the Manjhi-led government on February 20.
