Writing on Twitter through his @OfficeOfRG account, Rahul further said that it is the victory of humility over arrogance, love over hate, and of the people of Bihar.

“Congratulations to the people of Bihar, to Nitishji,to Laluji,to the Congress leaders &karyakartas & the Mahagathbandhan on this victory (sic),” he tweeted further.

Rahul's remarks assume significance as they come in the wake of the debate over intolerance going on in the society.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party BJP have been at the receiving end of the debate and it seems, their move to raise the beef issue in the Bihar elections has also backfired.

As per trends available at 12:55 pm, the Grand Alliance is leading in 158 seats, NDA in 74 and Others in 11.
