“Modi has gone to America look for a NRI chief ministerial candidate in Bihar as the BJP does not have a worthy face in the state,” Lalu tweeted.

Reacting to Lalu's post, Union Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the RJD chief "keeps making these statements. He is depressed," as per ANI.

On the other hand, LJP leader and MP from Bihar Chirag Paswan said. "Lalu ji must understand that our PM is there to pitch for India's permanent seat in UNSC."

Bihar is scheduled to go to a five-phased polls. The counting of votes is to be done on November 08.

Though there are other players in the fray, the main battle is between BJP-led NDA and the alliance of JD(U)-RJD-Congress.
