Molestation case: Lalu`s son Tej Pratap Yadav opines JD(U) MLA Sarfaraz Alam should be sent to jail
An FIR was lodged with the GRP in Patna against JD(U) MLA for allegedly abusing a couple on board the Express train.
Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav, Bihar's health minister and son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Friday opined that Janata Dal (United) MLA Sarfaraz Alam, accused of allegedly molesting a woman onboard the Guwahati-Rajdhani express should be sent to jail.
An FIR was lodged with the GRP here against JD(U) MLA for allegedly abusing a couple on board the Express train.
Superintendent of Police, Railways, PN Mishra told PTI that the FIR has been lodged on the basis of a complaint received by RPF from a passenger named Indrapal Singh Bedi against the MLA from Jokihat of Kishanganj for allegedly forcibly evicting him from his seat and abusing him and his wife when they protested.
The passenger further alleged that the MLA was with his bodyguard and in an inebriated condition when he misbehaved with him and his wife.
